Cortoclinics has short wait times. We can usually receive you for your first appointment at the clinic within a week. Once you have consulted with your orthopedic surgeon and decided upon surgery, we can immediately schedule a date for the procedure. You can decide who will perform the procedure.

Sometimes, during an appointment, it becomes clear that additional examinations are needed, such as an X-ray, CT scan, or MRI scan. Cortoclinics does not have the necessary equipment for these. Therefore, we have made arrangements with the following locations:
Bernhoven Hospital – Uden (X-ray, CT scan & MRI scan)
Meditta – Echt (X-ray & MRI scan)
ZOL Maas en Kempen – Maaseik | Belgium (X-ray, CT scan & MRI scan)
ACIBADEM – Amsterdam (CT scan)
After the examinations mentioned above, you will schedule another appointment at Cortoclinics to discuss the findings.
If you believe the wait time is too long, you can always contact us or your insurer to request waiting list mediation. Your insurer can provide assistance so that you can be seen sooner.
The maximum allowable wait time agreed to between healthcare providers and health insurers (the Treek standard) is 4 weeks for access to clinical and diagnostic services. For treatment, the maximum allowable wait time is 7 weeks.
